Flicks in the Sticks 2017 –

Continuing support to rural cinema provider for the interim period.

Flicks in the Sticks is a rural network of village halls, covering Shropshire, Cheshire and West and parts of Staffordshire.

Their main work includes, working with local people in the community who would like to promote cinema in their local hall. They offer all kinds of support from marketing, training and booking film rights.

With some venues, they use a technician to deliver the service, and other venues have their own equipment, something they encourage once the hall has proved itself in terms of audiences.

In 2017, Film Hub North West Central are supporting Flicks in the Sticks to continue their development and will help the network to not lose crucial momentum in the run up to what is likely to be their busiest season ever.
